Meet Our Resource Teachers

Mr. Miller is the science integration specialist for grades K-5 at Frazier International Magnet School. He is also the science teacher for middle school students. Mr. Miller collaborates with K- 5th grade teachers with the integration of science in their IB units of inquiry.

Prior to coming to Frazier, Mr. Miller worked for nine years at a Chicago charter school as the fourth grade lead teacher and science curriculum coordinator. He received my Bachelors degree from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, an MA in teaching, and an M.Ed. from National Louis University. He is excited and proud to be part of the growing education reform movement that is advancing student learning, improving teaching and making schools better.

Charlie Barbera is a Chicago-based percussionist specializing in Afro-Caribbean musical traditions. He is dedicated to preserving folkloric music of Cuba, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, and Colombia through his performances with Africaribe, EE, and Crystal Gravy.
