was honored by Gov. Quinn in 2010 when the Governor proclaimed October 25 - 31, 2010 as "Frazier International Beating the Odds and Educating Our Children Week in Illinois."
Frazier was honored by the Chicago Board of Education in November, 2010 for the school's extraordinary performance. Chicago Public Schools also chose Frazier as the district's nominee for Magnet School of the Year, Frazier's principal Colette Unger-Teasley as Magnet Principal of the Year, and leader Faren D'Abell as Magnet School Teacher of the Year. Results will be announced in the late spring.
91.9% of Frazier students met and exceeded state standards on the 2010 ISAT test, ranking Frazier #21 out of more than 500 elementary schools in Chicago including selective enrollment, magnet, neighborhood and charter schools.
